Breaking News!! Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Gets New VC

The management of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife has appointed Professor Ayobami Taofeek Salami as the new vice chancellor of the institution.

A Professor of Ecology and Environmental studies, Ayo Salami was the immediate past Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the OAU .

He was the Director of Ecology and Environmental studies at OAU. An OAU alumni Ayo Salami graduated with a B.Sc degree 2nd Class Upper division from (then) University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife) in 1986 before he bagging an M.Sc degree from same institution in 1989 .
