SIX MAJOR PROBLEMS OF the INFINIX HOT 2 AND THEIR SOLUTIONS

Without no doubt,  The Infinix Hot 2 is one of the most pocket friendly devices we have seen in Nigeria for the year 2015. How is that Possible? The phone is an Android One device. which simply means that Google partnered with Infinix to make the lovely devices . Also, users of this device will be receiving the latest Android updates as they come, directly from Google.
After going through various complaints from people and threads in our forums site, I’ve decided to gather the most common issues with the phone and best way to solve them.

Problem 1: I can’t see any gallery

Solution: The Infinix Hot 2 is pre-installed with an app called Google Photos. Well, i notice that some of us are not yet familiar with this app tha’s why you might be thinking that the phone didn’t have gallery. in other for you to fix the problem, Kindly go to Google play and download QUICK PIC or other familiar Gallery apps you know.

Problem 2: I can’t find file manger

Solution: Well, There are lots of file manager you can lay your hands on at Google Play but i will recommend you to download X-plore or ES FILE EXPLORER. These two apps are doing great.

Problem 3: I can’t set a custom song as ringtone

Solution: To fix this, use your X-plore app ,now  navigate to the song you want, and set that as your ringtone. that’s done!!

Problem 4: The Infinix Hot 2 doesn’t have HSDPA H+

Solution: Many users of this devices thinks that the phone does not support this features because the phone basically shows 3G on the network signal bar (instead of H+). To fix it, just go to your phone  Setting -> About  section, you we boldly  see where it is shown. Moreover, If you will like to see it reflected as an icon in the status bar, Then you will have to consider rooting your devices,Rooting the devices will make it possible for you to  install Xposed Framework and Gravity Box, then set it up to write H+ on the status bar. yeah, that’s Done!!!!

 

Problem 5: My launcher suddenly changed to vertical scrolling

Solution: Well, I notices that the latest update from Google Now changed the launcher  from horizontal to vertical scrolling of the app drawer. So if you don’t like it, go to Google Play Store, and download Nova launcher and tweak it to your taste.

Problem 6: I can’t watch videos

Solution: To fix this problem, just go to Google Play then you can download any of this lovely players,  MX Player or VLC player. This two app are highly recommend, then the problem is solve.

 

ATTENTION!!

1. Most of the problems above happens if you’re on a Guest Account . Why So? Guess account are restricts from performing various things and some mistakenly put themselves on guest account when there are setting up the phone. if you’re on it, reset your phone to factory settings.
2. PLEASE DO NOT ROOT THIS PHONE!! If you do, updating becomes and issue. take note!!!!!
